“The Last Night”
“How about some more wine?” Max asks Linda, pouring a glass from a
bottle they’d snatched up in town earlier in the day.
“You know I’m a sucker for a good glass of really expensive wine!” she
replies, smiling and offering up her nearly empty glass. Max fills it to the
rim, carefully pouring it into the side of the glass to keep the air and the
taste in.
“That’s funny! I thought you said you could never tell the difference
between a cheap bottle and a 20 year old red?”
“I can’t! I’m just kidding you!” she pauses, retrieving her fresh glass
from Max. “The truth is; I hate wine. But when I drink it I get really horny.”
she says, sending him her addicting smile underneath her baby blue eyes.
“I knew that already.” he replies, sitting back in his chair.
“What? You did not!” she slaps at him.
“Yes I did. You think I haven’t figure out that every time I get you
tanked up on wine I end up getting lucky?” he teases as they toast.
“Awe”, she smiles and laughs. “This is just how I wanted to wrap up our
last night, being teased about how much of a lush I am before I make you

over her breast, barely confined by the white silk slip she’s wearing so well.
He then gently massages her nipple, bringing her even closer to him while
their tongues twist and turn, intertwined and sharing in the taste of wine on
their lips.
They tease back and fourth as they enjoy their wine in front of a huge
bay window, memorizing the view of the hillside that drops down gradually,
slipping off into the ocean. The view is absolutely breathtaking and worth
every second they spend together staring at it like a live version of a million
dollar oil painting on the wall of a hundred year old New England mansion.
Its early spring nearly everywhere else in the world, though with the
extended past winter and their higher elevation, the cold weather that
brought in the wind and snow a month back, still lingers here in the Oregon
mountainside. “I think I’ll enjoy a cigarette with my wine. What do you
think about that?” Max asks, pulling a single stogy from his Marlboro
package.
“Whatever makes you feel like a man” she pokes, watching him light up.
“I’ll have one too!” She smiles wide as she reaches her hand out and
snatches the one he just lit from his lips. “You get your own now dear”.
“Your welcome sweetheart”, he tells her as he retrieves another cigarette
from his package and lights it with a smile. “What was I thinking anyway?”
he asks, laughing.
“You’re the luckiest man in the world.” She pauses before turning her
head and laughing “What? To have a knockout bombshell like me;
