Elora

My fake moans sounded ridiculous even to my own ears but they
always did the trick to send Colton over the edge. He either had no
idea I was faking it or he didn’t care—or both.
He was on top of me, humping me like a dog would a leg, his face
screwed tight and sweat pooling between us.

Ugh, so gross.
I had spent the last twenty minutes he was fucking me solving bugs in
my code. Might as well make use of the time, right? I should have just
ditched him but I’d gotten used to having him around.
Colton was as unlikable as any of those startup bullshit types of guys in
our generation could possibly be. He was attractive, had the most expensive
of everything to show off, and was loud mouthed with zero skills to back it
up. Big hat, no cattle, a Texan guy I went to uni with used to call it. Colton?
He had the biggest hat of them all.

I couldn’t deny that I was shit at relationships, but I wasn’t much better at
being alone. And after all, bad sex was still better than not getting any. So I
kept Colton around.
We had run into each other a few months ago at a meetup for young tech
professionals. As soon as I looked around the room, he caught my eye. Tall,
blonde, bright blue eyes—a handsome man who knew how to charm a girl
out of her knickers. It hadn’t taken long for him to notice me. Not that I
stood out, not like my best friend Kat, but he noticed I was checking him
out. Guys like Colton always went for the easy prey, and in terms of prey I
was carrion, while he was the vulture.

Two glasses of white in hand, he’d sat down next to me on one of the
uncomfortable plastic chairs lined up against the wall. The whole setup
looked more like an American high school dance than anything else. And
the prom king was coming to get some from the pretty loser.

“You look bored, babe. I bet we can do something about that.” He’d
smirked at me, bumped his elbow to mine, and handed me the wine. I guess
it had been a combination of my loneliness and the alcohol getting to my
head, but we ended up in bed not even two hours later.

Sex with Colton wasn’t the mind blowing climax-chasing madness I
craved. I needed to be handled roughly to be able to truly feel myself in my
body. Bedroom air muggy with sweat and musk, drenched in cum and
covered in bites. I wanted to reek of sex, be told what to do, and be called a
good girl. Was that too much to ask? Sex was my best coping strategy, but
sleeping with Colton was boring as fuck.
