We are all sat around the table, discussing the latest problem;
Belle. “All Bobby said was to collect a package. He failed to fucking
mention that it was a human package and also that it was his fucking
daughter,” Hawk rants.
“It’s almost like it’s written in the stars.” Cash smirks, taking the piss. I
flip him off.
“I think it’s more fucking disturbing that you all you know the ‘Beauty
and Beast’ story so well,” I snap back.
The brothers all laugh. “I couldn’t give a shit whether her name is Belle,
Cinderella, or fucking Dave. What we have on our hands is another fucking
problem that we don’t need. Did Bobby not say why there are people
wanting her? Why she is all of a sudden in fucking danger?” Ghost asks.
I shake my head. “No, he just mentioned all that he has done for the
club, and that he has never asked for a favour, but now is that time. You
requested a visit to ask him?”
Ghost nods. “Of course I fucking have. I am due to go there tomorrow
morning and I am taking the package with me. I want you,”—Ghost points
at me—“Hawk and Spider with me. If she is a target, I don’t want to risk
that target spilling onto my fucking back. We go in the truck, and she keeps
her hood up, or she wears a fucking hat. Either way, we keep her name
quiet. Any of the officers ask who she is, Beast, she’s your ol’ lady,” Ghost
orders.
I smirk. “Ain’t going to protest that, Pres. I got eyes.”
“Yeah, but I don’t think she will be so fucking willing,” Spider mocks,
laughing.
I reach over and thump him in the arm. “Fuck you. With my charm, this
smile, and my magnificent dick, she will be all over me,” I argue.
“Your monster dick stays firmly in your fucking pants. There will be no
charming, no flirting, nothing. Bobby is a respected ally of this club, and it
would also do you good to remember that he is a fucking crime boss. You
piss him off by screwing his daughter, I’m pretty sure you won’t be able to
smile, charm, or fuck anyone ever again,” Ghost warns.
I hold my hands up in surrender. “Charm is turned off. Unless Bobby
gives me the go ahead,” I add.
Ghost pinches the bridge of his nose. “Why is it that I feel like a
stressed out father of you lot?” He sighs.
“Because they have a low maturity level,” Rage answers.
Ghost looks at Rage and shakes his head. “It was a rhetorical question,
Rage.” Ghost then bangs the gavel down. “Just fuck off. She will stay here
in the club for tonight, then after the meet with Bobby tomorrow we will
decide what’s happening.”
We all stand and file out into the bar area of the club. I look over and
see her sat with the other ol’ ladies. Her rich, wavy auburn hair is gathered
over one shoulder, and her smile makes her hazel eyes sparkle.
“Uh-oh,” Hawk says next to me.
I look at him. “What?” I ask.
