The Monster
Fuck, I haven’t seen something so satisfying in months. Not since the last
time I saw Ainsley in my bed, taking my cock like the good girl she is.
Laid out in front of me is a man covered in his own blood and vomit,
begging me for mercy. He’s missing an arm, and one of his legs is broken,
but the best part was castrating him. His screams have brought me joy over
the last few days, the first feeling other than anger and despair I’ve felt in
three months.
“I was only doing what I was told! I swear, I never touched her,” Alex
assures me in his newest attempt to beg me. At this point, I don’t know if
he’s begging to be let go or begging for a swift death.
With a humorless laugh, I add another slice to his already unrecognizable
face. “Where is he? Tell me, and I’ll kill you and end the torture.”
I won’t, but he doesn’t know that. I need something to take my frustration
out on, and carving up his skin has released more tension than I thought it
would.
“I don’t know!” he cries. He closes his eyes, bracing himself for the next
round of pain, and I don’t disappoint. As I dig the heel of my hand into his
broken leg, he howls loud enough to alert anyone in the area that he needs
help. Good thing no one is around to hear his cries.
The potent smell of urine suddenly invades my senses, and when I look
over, I find Alex crying like a baby as he wets himself.
With a sneer that he can’t even see, I turn my back to him and leave the
basement. I left my phone upstairs, and it’s about time to watch my girl.
With renewed energy, I take the steps two at a time, not wanting to miss a
second of watching her. It’s the only way I can see her these days.
When I pull up the camera feed, I find her laying in bed with her phone
pressed to her ear.
“I’m just not in the mood, but I know they won’t let me tell them no.”
Pause.
“Yeah, they still suspect it was more. They know me too well.”
Another pause. Who is on the other end of the phone?
“What do you expect me to say? Should I tell them that your older
brother kidnapped me and held me hostage until I fell in love with him?
They’d take me to a psych ward, and they wouldn’t even know half of it.”
Ethan. I’m not surprised that it’s him, but it still annoys me.
They’re just
as close as they’ve ever been, though he’s been careful about the way he
acts around her. They haven’t slept in the same bed since the day I found
them in his room, and if I text him for an update, he’s always quick to
respond and tells me nothing but the truth, even if it hurts to hear.
Minimizing the screen showing me the live feed, I pull up my messages
app.
