Rebirth
Early in the morning, the sun shined in the small garden, the shadows of the
trees swayed, a golden ray of sunlight penetrated the forest and fell on a
beautiful European-style villa with red tiles and white walls.
The two-story villa, on the right side, has a ground-level window covered
by dark brown curtains. The morning sunlight only shines through the
window curtains, dipping a layer of vague light. Inside seems a bit dark, the
space is so quiet that you can hear the sound of moving air.
TK was lying on the large bed in the middle of the room, all around was
dim, but he just needed to lower his head to see himself as if he was stuffing
an inflated rubber ball in his stomach, both round and large. He sighed,
raised his right hand to touch his 6-month-old belly.
The kid inside seemed to feel that he was rubbing him and suddenly moved
a little. I don’t know if the kid’s feet were touching the right place he was
rubbing or not, but every small movement fell into his palm. TK
If it were five days ago, TK would have been scared to death, but now not
only did his heart not waver at all, but his expression also remained
unchanged as he patted his round belly. “Good boy.”
I don’t know if the kid understood what he said or not, it’s really not
confusing anymore. TK stared blankly at the intricately carved patterns on
the ceiling, hesitating whether he should sleep a little more or not, when
suddenly there was a light knock on the door from outside. “Madam, are
you awake?” The maid probably heard the commotion when he woke up
and asked, “We have prepared breakfast.”
TK pulled the thin blanket up to cover his stomach and said, “Come in.”
Not long after, the door was pushed open, and a group of maids wearing
identical outfits carrying food trays lined up inside. The first maid went to
the window and opened the curtains, allowing golden sunlight to penetrate.
In the room, another person took out a set of clothes from the closet and
placed them neatly at the end of the bed. The other maids also did not have
time to spare, moving quickly, placing a small table on the bed and then
bringing a hot breakfast. put on the table.
TK covered himself with a thin blanket and lay on the bed, continuing to
silently stare at the ceiling. Early in the morning of the first day, when he
entered the world of this novel, he felt extremely embarrassed and wished
he could slap her. His stomach flattened. Now that it’s been five days, he’s
gotten used to being served by female maids, as well as getting used to
